The current production facilities was built in 1975 when our fouder Vincenzo Albani was looking for an alternative energy source. Choice fell on Civitavecchia because, today as well, is a land rich in geothermal energy so to permit to install and build green houses for 180.000 squared metres in a total property of 600.000 sq.mt..

Concerning the productions, in our Nursery we grow young plants as follow:
- keeping our RE-AL virus-free variety clones;
- growing our Grandmother Plants into insect-proof green-houses
- growing our Mother Plants in a safe and controlled location;
- rooting young plants on warm benches into greenhouses equipped with a fog irrigation system;.
Finally, we have an entire automated greenhouse of 18.000 sq. mt. well equipped with fertirrigation flow and reflux and automated trains also that can easly transport benches.
